Rachel Katzman: Co-founder of P.volve

In this IG live recap, we talk with Rachel Katzman, co-founder of P.volve, a low-impact results-driven workout. P.volve is ah.mi’s official workout partner for Super Clean January. Our teams worked together to create a customized calendar for Le Health Club members that involves committing to three workouts every week ranging from 20-40 minutes, ideal for any busy lifestyle.

What is P.volve? 

P.volve at the heart is a functional fitness method that utilizes low-impact exercises and resistance-based equipment that will strengthen and tone your body. It also works on things like stability, mobility, and flexibility- all of which are super important when thinking about your overall health and longevity. Rachel believes the workout is “magic and will give you results that you didn’t think were possible before.” She explains that you will look amazing, but most importantly, you’re going to feel 10x better than you look.

P.volve equipment can be utilized for full-body exercise. Expect full-body opening moves, as well as targeted micro-movements to get those deep, tiny muscles that are often hard to activate. You will feel energized, rather than depleted, after each workout which is one reason Rachel fell in love with the method. After the workout, she would feel extremely energized and ready to start her day.

Why P.volve? 

Prior to P.volve, Rachel was very into high intenstity workouts but wasn’t seeing great results. Now, she has observed substantial results through her method and feels significantly better both physically and mentally. Many people associate pain with gains, but Rachel believes that you don’t have to punish your body to see results. Instead, it is important to approach change from a mind, movement, meals standpoint and examine how all of those things work together to create the best version of you. 

She explains that low-impact movement can be the easiest or hardest workout that you take, as there is great mind-body connection involved in it. Rachel starts each day with a P.volve workout that may vary from stretching-focused to strength-focused to sculpting-focused depending on how she is feeling.
